Πήρα ένα ι μέιλ από τον κύριο OWEN GREEN (ESQ) .Ξεκινάει ως εξής : " Dear Humble One "... και συνεχίζει εξηγώντας μου ότι ο τέως ηγέτης της Λιβερίας " Mr Charles Taylor " έχει καταθέσεις ύψους 28.5 εκατομμυρίων δολαρίων " with a top security company here in London " . Η Βρετανική κυβέρνηση έχει ξεκινήσει έρευνα για καταθέσεις ξένων αξιωματούχων σε βρετανικές τράπεζες και ο κύριος Taylor επείγεται. Δεν είναι όμως σε θέση να κάνει ανάληψη των χρημάτων του και με καλεί να τον βοηθήσω. Δεν χρειάζονται πολλά : το όνομα μου, η διεύθυνση μου, η ηλικία μου, το τηλέφωνο μου, ένα αντίγραφο του διαβατηρίου μου και της άδειας οδήγησης και ,τέλος, τα πλήρη στοιχεία του τραπεζικού μου λογαριασμού. Αν ανταποκριθώ ο Charles Taylor είναι διατεθειμένος να μου παραχωρήσει μέχρι και το 20% των καταθέσεων του. Πρέπει να κάνω κάτι άμεσα αλλά την περίοδο αυτή έχω πολλές δουλείες και ίσως δεν προλάβω. Dear Humble One,
It is my great pleasure to be contacting you on this important business transaction. My name is OWEN GREEN, a reputable and respected lawyer from England. I am the personal lawyer of Mr Charles Taylor, the former Liberia President who was forcefully asked to resign from office last year based on the long lasting political crisis in his country Liberia.
Well, this is not the issue why I am contacting you, Mr Taylor before he was asked to resign from office last year, deposited the sum of $28.5 million dollars with a top security company here in London in the name of treasury box in which I am the lawyer that sign all the legal documents of the fund before it was deposited in the year 2000.
Since last month, the British government has launch a fast investigation with banks and Security companies in England to fish out top foreign government official whos fund is deposited in England and call for the need to close such accounts. To this effect, Mr Charles Taylor has instructed me to contact trusted and reliable person who can assist us to transfer this fund to his account in which the person will stand chance to get the 20% percent of the total sum once the fund is transfered.
